Karen lives and works as an artist in her country home in Grindstone, PA since her retirement as a Case Management Specialist with the Private Industry Council. From an early age, she has always wanted to be an artist. Her deep love for fluidity and the look of watercolor has led her to paint in the medium. As a self-taught artist, Karen has studied under Sue Pollin and other renowned watercolorist. She has exhibited at the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society, Valley Art Club annual shows, Greensburg Art Gallery, the Melega Museum and has received several awards for her paintings. An important facet of Karen's work is her strong belief that her creativity is a gift from God.
