This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of creating, decorating, and using your own junk journal and collage fodder to decorate your pages. Junk journals are a great way to express your creativity, preserve memories, and keep track of your thoughts and ideas using unexpected and unusual materials. What You'll Learn:
- How to gather and prepare materials for your junk journal.
- Basic bookbinding techniques.
- How to decorate your journal with collage, mark-making tools, and other embellishments.
- How to use your junk journal for writing, sketching, and other creative purposes.
Materials:
- The cost of the workshop includes a starter kit featuring a variety of papers, such as old book pages, maps, and magazine clippings, fabric scraps, ribbons, and other embellishments.
- A glue stick and tape
- Scissors and/or a craft knife
- Sturdy needle and thread
- Staplers
- Pens, pencils, markers, and crayons
